SAN FRANCISCO — The College of San Mateo baseball team scored 19 runs on 14 hits Tuesday, rolling past City College of San Francisco 19-1 at Maloney Field to open a three-game Coast Conference North Division series.
The Bulldogs sent 46 batters to the plate and took advantage of six Rams errors and four balks to turn a close game into a blowout by the late innings.
