ABOUT THE BULLDOGS
CSM will look to bounce back after suffering its first loss, a narrow 23-20 setback at then No. 6 state-ranked Modesto Junior College last Saturday. The Bulldogs entered the game as the No. 1 ranked team in the state.

Despite the loss, running back Lolo Mataele had solid game for CSM. He ran 26 times for 146 yards with a pair of TDs. For the season, Mataele has ran for 5 touchdowns and 316 yards.
On defense, Nate Abbott produced a highlight play, blocking a second-quarter punt near the Modesto end zone that resulted in a safety.
